Last week WLC junior nursing students did a neighborhood walk as a part of their Population Health course. The purpose of the walk was to identify environmental concerns that could impact the health of people living in the community.

Public Notice of CCNE Accreditation Visit and Call for Third-Party Comments

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, will host an accreditation visit by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) on November 2-4, 2026. The purpose of the visit is to seek continuing accreditation of the BSN program at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

In accordance with CCNE accreditation procedures, Wisconsin Lutheran College must notify its constituents that an accreditation review is scheduled and that interested parties may submit signed written comments concerning a program's qualifications for accreditation.

Written third-part comments regarding the BSN program at Wisconsin Lutheran College must be received by CCNE no later than October 11, 2026.

Only signed comments are accepted by CCNE. CCNE shares third-party comments with members of the evaluation team prior to the visit, but at no time during the review process are these comments shared with the program. During its review of the program, the evaluation team considers third-party comments that relate to the accreditation standards. All third-party comments submitted to CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE's policy on Conduct of Business in English.
