Beethoven's not the only one with a big 2020 birthday!

Join UWM's own Tim Sterner Miller for a video essay celebrating the 400th birthday of Baroque composer Isabella Leonarda (1620-1704), placing her in the context of other women composers from the Early Modern Era and offering a guided tour of her 1676 motet, O flammæ. Tim's video is accompanied by a full recording of O flammæ by the New Milwaukee Consort.

These videos are presented by Early Music Now as part of their 2020-21 online lecture series: https://www.earlymusicnow.org/lecture-series/tim-sterner-miller/
