Thanks so much to our faculty and staff for kicking the 2026-27 academic year off on the right foot. We're ready for the students to show up on Monday!

Dr. Abiola Keller, associate professor and associate dean for research, was selected as a member of the 2026 cohort of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Wharton Executive Leadership Program.

This three-day program is taught by Wharton faculty and is designed to advance academic nursing officers to higher levels of leadership.

Abiola has spent more than a decade with our college, greatly aiding our community-engaged research efforts among numerous other accomplishments. We look forward to learning from her experience in this program!

Marquette's strong behavioral analysis Ph.D. program drew Janie Schulz here from Omaha. The cherry on top? She'd get to live in a retirement community.

“I was blown away something like this existed,” Janie said. “I was like, ‘This is totally up my alley. I’m absolutely doing it.’”

Our St. Camillus intergenerational housing program places students in apartments side-by-side with senior citizens, enabling the two groups to learn from each other and create lasting bonds.

Tears, hugs and one VERY cute baby 😄

We saw all of these things and more at the Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program’s culminating celebration!

To say we’re proud of our newest group of nurse anesthetists is an understatement. They have worked incredibly hard to become the skilled, caring providers that they are today. The healthcare organizations they’re going to will be better off for having them, as will their patients.
