At our September Reflection, Trinity Fellows gathered for a workshop with Ex Fabula centered on storytelling and community building. Fellows made space to listen, reflect, and share experiences that shape how they show up in their work and in community.

Thank you to Ex Fabula for guiding the conversation, and to the Burke Foundation for welcoming us into their space. We’re grateful for the chance to slow down together and reconnect with our “why.”

Please join us in welcoming Josephine Pruhs to the Trinity Fellows team! Josephine is a senior at Marquette studying Digital Media and Film and Media Studies. This semester, she’ll support Trinity’s communications related projects.

Originally from Wauwatosa, Josephine enjoys horseback riding, volunteering with horses, reading, and making art. We’re glad to have her with us!

We’re proud to welcome the nonprofit partners hosting members of our 2026–2028 Trinity Fellows cohort!

Earlier this month, Fellows began their professional roles with these organizations, where they will spend the next 21 months learning, contributing, and putting social and economic justice into practice.

Please join us in welcoming Amanda Pinto to the Trinity Fellows team! Amanda (they/she) will serve as our Career Diversity Assistant (CDA) this academic year.

A fifth-year Philosophy PhD student at Marquette, Amanda is originally from New York and moved to Milwaukee from Charlotte, North Carolina. Their research explores social and political philosophy, with a focus on systems of oppression and possibilities for resistance.

Outside academia, Amanda is a passionate dancer, performer, and instructor and an avid reader who has already read 150 books this year!

Amanda will support alumni relations, contribute to our upcoming grant renewal, and develop new resources for Fellows, among other projects.

Welcome, Amanda! We’re happy to have you with us.
