Last Saturday, MUSG members came together for Professional Development Day. The day gave members a chance to set goals, unify their vision, and prepare for real-world scenarios that may arise during the academic year. Many thanks to Jess Verdejo, Director of the Aruppe Center, Zabrian (Z) Oglesby, Assistant Dean of Students, and Cassie Mori, Associate Director of Student Engagement, for bringing fruitful conversation and reflection rooted in Jesuit teaching to the day.

To mark Earth Day, MUSG's Sustainability Committee invited local vendors to our annual Farmers Market. The event, hosted on the ShAMU lawn, was a great success for both students and vendors alike. MUSG was happy to provide students with free coffee from Wake N' Brew, crepes from Xavier's Crepes, and succulent plants from Midwest Shores. Thank you to all who attended, enjoyed the delicious bites and sips, and shopped the local, sustainable goods 🌎☀️🪴
