In late July, Ed Psych research assistants Grace Divine Boutouli, Courtney Ginestra, and Sabrina Brown, along with speech language sciences PhD candidate Jamie Linert, attended the PRISMS (Parents and Researchers Interested in Smith-Magenis Syndrome) Conference welcome reception in Bloomington, MN.
The PRISMS Conference is an annual gathering of individuals with Smith-Magenis syndrome, family members and advocates of individuals with SMS, and researchers who are interested in this syndrome.
The four had a booth and poster set up at the conference's welcome reception, where they shared information about research related to neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodiversity currently being conducted at the University of Minnesota.
