University of Minnesota Undergraduate Physiology Society

University of Minnesota Undergraduate Physiology Society The Undergraduate Physiology Society is a student organization designed to provide physiology student

UPS (not to be confused with the United Parcel Service) is a group of University of Minnesota undergraduate students who are passionate about physiology and the human body. Founded in 2009, UPS is student-governed, and affiliated with the department of Integrative Biology and Physiology, with Dr. Vincent Barnett as our advisor. Although many members are physiology majors, this is not a requirement

for membership, and we encourage non-majors to attend our meetings and events. UPS serves to build a community between undergraduate physiology majors, as well as any students interersted in the field of human physiology.UPS has monthly meetings as well as social events and service projects to build the growing community of undergraduate students interested in physiology. We introduce guest speakers at each meeting, including IBP faculty and staff, physiology alumni, professors and TAs, and more. UPS also organizes tours of research labs and field trips to events in the surrounding community. Visit our events page to see upcoming and current events, and be sure to check out our photo gallery to view pictures from past events!
