Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. expresses deep disappointment in U.S. Supreme Court decision limiting the Voting Rights Act.

“………The decision, pushed by the Supreme Court’s conservative majority, further limits a key protection of the landmark Voting Rights Act, significantly raising the bar for challenges to election maps that limit the equal opportunity of minority voters to elect candidates of their choosing, even if lawmakers did not intend to discriminate.”
