Event Planning and Spending Forms
We are already getting some wonderful events coming through our office, and we are so excited to see them come to fruition! With that in mind, I want to take the opportunity to remind you to read both the “Please Note” and “Process” sections of the form each time you begin the Event Planning and Spending Forms. An issue that we have been running in to is not receiving a response from advisers within 24 hours of us sending out the request. This is usually because advisers, being extremely busy, may not be looking out for the email in their inbox. In order to complete requests, we need the full amount of time prior to your event/spending date in order to process the request, and we cannot start this process until we receive approval from your adviser. So, in order to avoid having your event/purchase cancelled, it is important for you to not only be discussing the event/purchase with your adviser prior to submitting the request, but follow up with your adviser to make sure that he/she is looking out for the approval request email. We will send one email following up the day after we send the request, and then unfortunately after that, we will unfortunately need to cancel the event or purchase, and you will need to submit the request for a later date.
