Join the Saddleback College Karate Class! KNES 93 Beginning Karate or KNES 97 Intermediate Karate Thursday nights 7 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. Location PE 306. Register now for next semester. Saddleback Students are invited to register and join this class. The Karate class at Saddleback College teaches Japanese Karate Street Defense. Students learn how to defend against any attacker. The Karate class is fun and great exercise. Students improve their physical condition and at the same learn practical Self Defense that will help them in daily life.
Karate is a Japanese word meaning “Empty Hand”. Karate training relieves stress and is always interesting and purposeful. Karate helps students to focus their thoughts and concentrate. In this way Karate helps improve overall study habits. Students will have the opportunity to test for Belt ranks in the Art of Karate if they wish to do so. Dan McGeough is the Karate instructor at Saddleback College and has taught Karate for many years. He is a Black Belt Martial Artist with extensive training in Karate, Judo, Aikido and Ju Jitsu.
