Congratulations to Dr. Jacqueline Bell, faculty member in our Educational Psychology Program, on being nominated by an MSU student-athlete to attend MSU Football’s Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day! Dr. Bell, along with other faculty and staff, enjoyed a tour of the Leo Seal Jr. Football Complex, watching practice, and having lunch with the team. We’re growing our Applied Behavior Analysis program at Mississippi State University and currently have openings!

Our program offers:
A state-of-the-art ABA training facility on campus
7 full-time ABA faculty
An undergraduate ABA major and minor
A growing M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis
A strong focus on student training, research, and community engagement
An active commitment to program growth and excellence

We are currently working toward full ABAI accreditation, with our curriculum and program development intentionally aligned with ABAI standards

Congratulations to Dr. Neil Deochand, Assistant Professor in our Applied Behavior Analysis Program, on the acceptance of his first article since joining MSU!

The article, accepted for publication in Behavior Analysis: Research and Practice, reports the largest review of behavior plan contents to date. The study examined 1,151 behavior plans authored by over 270 clinicians as part of the Commonwealth of Virginia review assessing Medicaid minimum compliance indicators.

We are proud to recognize Dr. Deochand and his contributions to research. Congratulations on this accomplishment!
