College of Education - Mississippi State From nationally accredited teacher education programs to non-teaching degrees, we're preparing Bulldogs to make a difference in and out of the classroom.

Welcome to the College of Education at Mississippi State University! We are helping Bulldogs develop dynamic skills through five academic departments at our main campus in Starkville and the division of education at our Meridian campus. We also offer numerous degrees online! Our academic programs span teacher education, kinesiology, music, educational psychology, industrial technology, learning an

d user experience design, applied behavior analysis and more. Driven to make a difference, we are home to a leading-edge research unit, as well as transformative service units, such as the Mississippi Institute on Disabilities and the National Research and Training Center on Blindness and Low Vision. Our faculty are collaborating to discover solutions to today’s tough challenges while providing hands-on learning opportunities for students. MSU was well represented at the Mississippi Council of Teachers of Mathematics conference! 🍎📐

Dr. Rebecca Robichaux-Davis, associate dean of academics, served as the keynote speaker and led an engaging session, "Bringing JOY to the Mathematics Classroom." Fellow presenters included Dr. Salisbury, Rebecca Kellum, Dr. Bondurant and some of her students.

More than 300 educators, administrators, university faculty members and future teachers gathered at The Mill for the conference, and we were proud to see so many Bulldogs among them. 🐾

As Starkville’s reigning Miss Hospitality, Presley Bassett holds a strong connection to the home of Mississippi State. 🐾 The senior special education major represented her hometown at the state competition this summer, where she was named third alternate and earned the Speech Award.

This semester, she's continuing to make a difference in her community as a student-teaching intern at Henderson Ward Stewart Elementary School.

"Mississippi State has genuinely pulled me out of my comfort zone in so many ways. It’s helped me grow as a person, it’s helped me love others better, but most of all, it’s helped me be an active servant for our community and for our state as a whole.”
