College of Education - Mississippi State From nationally accredited teacher education programs to non-teaching degrees, we're preparing Bulldogs to make a difference in and out of the classroom.

Welcome to the College of Education at Mississippi State University! We are helping Bulldogs develop dynamic skills through five academic departments at our main campus in Starkville and the division of education at our Meridian campus. We also offer numerous degrees online! Our academic programs span teacher education, kinesiology, music, educational psychology, industrial technology, learning and user experience design, applied behavior analysis and more. Driven to make a difference, we are home to a leading-edge research unit, as well as transformative service units, such as the Mississippi Institute on Disabilities and the National Research and Training Center on Blindness and Low Vision. Our faculty are collaborating to discover solutions to today’s tough challenges while providing hands-on learning opportunities for students. We are also proud to be among an elite group of institutions holding the acclaimed All-Steinway School status, a reflection of our commitment to excellence in the arts. Families can check out sensory bags for free during Mississippi State home football games, thanks to a partnership between our T.K. Martin Center for Technology and Disability, MSU Athletics and the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services.

The bags are available to check out at the information booths inside Davis Wade Stadium at West Gate A, North Section 09 and East Gate L during home games.

Each bag contains a noise-canceling headset, fidget toys, disposable ear plugs and an information sheet explaining when families can anticipate sudden changes in lights or noises during the football game. Read more through the link in the comments!

Inspiring a love of reading 📚 Our James Patterson Teacher Education Scholars gave personally selected books to third graders as part of MSU's Personal Reading Stylist program!

The scholars worked one-on-one with students to learn about their interests and reading habits and then carefully chose a book specifically for each student. We hope they love their new books!
