Professor Marko at the 2026 Literature/Film Association Conference held last week at Elon University in North Carolina. Here he is pictured between fellow presenters from the panel New Cinemas and Internationality. His presentation, Cons and Artists: Transatlantic Complicity in Wim Wenders’ “The American Friend” featured his ongoing research on Wenders, German Cinema, and film adaptation of literary work.
