AUDITIONS!
The Ron & Sheilah Gates department of theatre at Dakota Wesleyan University is looking for individuals who would like to be a part of the fall dramatic production, ‘Savage in Limbo’. We are looking for individuals who would like to be a part of our cast and our crew. All show info and character info, along with important dates are below.
AUDITIONS
Auditions will be held on:
Monday, Sept. 28th, @ 7:00pm
Tuesday, Sept. 29th @ 7:00pm
Auditions will be held at the DWU Black Box Theatre (Attached to the Dakota Discovery Museum)
NOTE: We are also looking for a stage crew. Please come to one night of auditions and fill out a contact form so that we can get your contact info.

ABOUT THE SHOW
Savage in Limbo by John Patrick Shanley is a raw, intense play that explores existential dread, loneliness, and the desperate itch for personal change.
CHARACTERS
Five former parochial school classmates, all turning 32 years old, who feel trapped in dead-end lives of quiet desperation.
*Denise Savage: The title character. She is a tough, lonely, and desperate 32-year-old who announces she wants to change her life.
*Linda Rotunda: Denise's high school friend. She has many lovers and children, but worries she is losing her boyfriend, Tony.
*Tony Aronica: Linda's macho, mixed-up boyfriend. He announces he wants to leave Linda.
*April White: A quiet, troubled barfly and former nun. She mostly stays in the background, sleeping or falling into hysteria.
*Murk: The taciturn, baby-faced bartender who keeps the drinks flowing.
STAGE CREW
We are looking for the following……
Stage Manager – Will need to be at all rehearsals and performances
Light Board Operator – Will only need to be at Tech week rehearsals and all performances.
Sound Board Operator – Will only need to be at Tech week rehearsals and all performances.
