Our Behavior Management Certificate coursework begins again this January!

Current graduate students (teachers like you) are sharing positive feedback and already applying what they are learning in their classrooms. Because different behaviors require different strategies, this program provides practical tools you can use right away.

Contact [email protected] or [email protected] for more information!

Courses start in January!

In July, Dr. Wede and Dr. Weber attended the Jim Knight Intensive Instructional Coaching Institute in Kansas. It was an incredible week of learning, collaborating with educators from across the country, and bringing back new ideas to strengthen teaching, learning, and instructional coaching.

Now comes the fun part... finding enough shelf space for all these books!

They're excited to put what they learned into practice and continue supporting educators and students through meaningful professional learning.

The Mitchell Summer Scholars enjoyed a visit to the StoryWalk at Patton Young Park during their afternoon excursion! 📚☀️ The StoryWalk is created and installed by DWU Aspiring Educators and generously funded by the Kiwanis Club of Mitchell SD. We love seeing this community collaboration bring literacy and learning to life! 💙
There will be a new story installation on August 17!

What a great day at EmpowerED 2026!

Thank you to all of the educators, presenters, and school leaders who joined us at Dakota Wesleyan University for a day focused on practical strategies, innovative teaching ideas, AI for educators, collaboration, and connection. We loved seeing educators learning from one another, sharing ideas, and leaving energized for the year ahead.

A special thank you to our presenters for sharing their time, knowledge, and experience with fellow educators. Your willingness to support and encourage others is what makes events like this meaningful.
