🐦 Birds are incredible animals – many move seasonally across great distances in an often-perilous journey known as migration. These seasonal events require extreme physiological adaptations in birds. Although there has historically been much interest in avian migration, new methods of tracking these amazing animals have given researchers some rather impressive (and almost unbelievable!) insights into the science of bird migration.

🐦 Join us to learn a bit about the history of the study of bird migration, what we know about how birds accomplish these incredible journeys, and how scientists are trying to understand and protect migratory birds.
