A glimpse into the earliest days of Spring Hill athletics.

This photo shows the Badgers during the inaugural football season in 1901, competing on the site of today's Sims-Galle Field. The Lucey Admin Building, visible in the background, still overlooks the field more than 120 years later.

Spring Hill football was part of Badger athletics from 1901 to 1941, leaving behind a unique chapter in the College's history.

Spring Hill College Badger Volleyball

The 2010 Badgers finished 27-5 overall and captured the SSAC West Division Championship in Peggy Martin's second season on the Hill.

The title was the first of four consecutive division championships for Spring Hill. The team was led by Yiting Cao, who earned SSAC West Player of the Year honors and NAIA All-America recognition.

Spring Hill College welcomed Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis to campus for a visit to the Annette N. Shelby Health and Science Innovation Center in recognition of Building Safety Month. Selected as the only site for this year’s observance, the center highlights the collaboration, safety, and quality shaping the future of healthcare education in our region.

Set to open for students in Spring 2027, this transformative space will expand opportunities across nursing, pre-med, exercise science, and health sciences programs. Thank you to our community leaders, campus partners, and supporters helping make this vision possible.
