As the result of encouragement given by Charles Taylor and Langston Taylor, members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority was organized by five women. These Sigma brothers felt the campus would benefit by the development of such an organization as sis

ters to the fraternity. Thus, Zetas and Sigmas became the first official Greek-letter sister and brother organizations. The sorority upholds their Founders’ vision, setting themselves apart as an organization built on the ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood.

We refuse to accept the limits on Autism. This month, and every day, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, acknowledges autism’s existence, acceptance promotes true inclusion, belonging, and empowerment.

The vast diversity of the autism spectrum represents the unique experiences of individuals and families navigating this journey. We thrive on creating environments where those with autism receive the support, opportunities, and connections they deserve.
Today, we will for individuals with autism so that they can continue to be themselves authentically — without limitations. It’s up to us to ensure they are seen, heard, and celebrated.

During Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated honors this powerful reminder that sexual violence is a pervasive issue affecting individuals across all communities. We stand in solidarity with advocates and communities dedicated to raising public awareness, educating communities, and fostering action to prevent sexual violence.

We know the statistics are alarming, but we have to continue to ask the question - what are we doing about it? Our workplaces, schools, and communities rely on us to speak up, and uphold safety and respect!

Let’s continue creating environments where survivors are supported and prevention efforts are prioritized.

More than a century ago, our Triumphant Five Pearls envisioned a sorority committed to inspiring positive change, elevating communities, promoting academic excellence, and fostering unity. Today, we proudly honor that vision—rooted in the enduring principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.

As we celebrate our 106th year of service and sisterhood and unite for our Global Day of Service in Jackson, Mississippi, we pause to reflect on just how far we have come. We stand firmly on the legacy built by those who paved the way, while carrying forward their promise to advocate for change, uplift communities, and strengthen families across the globe.

Leading by example through The Power of S.H.E. Community Blueprint, we are confronting the Black maternal health crisis and speaking out against persistent inequities—demonstrating the true power of intentional, impactful service.
