Today, four chemistry/biochemistry mistry majors (Kody Coyne, Alayna Earle, Ivy Hawkins, Riley Kalnins) and a neuroscience major (Jesia Choity) gave research poster presentations at the IL-IA American Chemical Society undergraduate research conference at U of Iowa.
What a fantastic job by all of them. Truthfullly, they are doing some high level research.
Additional congratulations to Kody Coyne for winning a best poster presentation award which amounts to $350 for travel to another research conference to present.
I should add that we saw some alums too - YeJun Park, Sreya Roy, and Dr. Scott Shaw!

Doc Kieft Summer Research students visited U of Iowa thanks to Chris Knutson and Scot Shaw, both alums of Monmouth Collegr chemistry.
We had a full day of visits to many different labs in chemistry and environmental engineering. Lots of opportunities for chemistry grads! We were also able to talk with other alums of our department, as you can see from the pics! Great time. Monmouth College
