Last month, LDCC Winnsboro hosted a Data Center and Workforce Expo for community members to discover local opportunities related to the Richland Parish Data Center! The event had an astronomical turnout, with hundreds of attendees lined up to learn more about job opportunities, short-term work courses, and more.

LDCC recently hosted its 2026 Jump Start Summer program, providing high school students with disabilities from Caldwell and Lincoln Parish school districts with opportunities to earn an industry-recognized credential, explore technical careers, and prepare for life after high school! Join us in congratulating each these students for completing the program and earning their OSHA 10 certification.

We're celebrating 25 Years of Louisiana Delta Community College all year long!

The Louisiana Legislature created Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) through Act 1369 of the 1997 Regular Session and Act 151 of the 1998 First Extraordinary Session in the area of the Monroe Regional Planning and Economic Development District, an area in Northeast Louisiana covering the Mississippi Delta.

LDCC held its inaugural semester of classes in Fall 2001, marking 2026 as the 25th anniversary of providing accessible and affordable high-quality education and training to the individuals, families, and communities of Northeast Louisiana to drive regional economic stability, wellness, and wealth.

Stay tuned for celebratory events, historical content, and alumni throwbacks throughout the entire 2026-27 academic year!
