Mon-Yough Plumbing Apprentice School Since 1974 our Apprentice Training Program has educated generations of the finest plumbers in Allegheny County and Southwestern Pennsylvania!

At MYPAS we utilize both theory and hands-on skill, preparing Apprentices for the Allegheny County Plumbing Exam. The Mon-Yough Plumbing Apprentice School is a training course for those seeking a career in the plumbing field. At Mon-Yough, we instruct our students on the theory of Plumbing and the Plumbing Code utilized by the Allegheny County Health Department. Courses span out into two semesters

each year consisting of 24 nights each, and continue through four years for a total of eight semesters. To be eligible at the end of your education to take the Allegheny County Journeyman Plumber's Examination, students must have a total of 576 classroom hours, along with a total of 8,000 on the job working hours under direction of a Registered Master Plumber. Since 1974 we have prepared our students for the Allegheny County Examinations, producing generations upon generations of Journeyman & Master Plumbers...and we've done it all at the same location! This Memorial Day, MYPAS honors the heroes who never made it home and the families who carry their legacy forward. May we never forget the cost of freedom.

I wanted to share this for someone who has done so much for us, and the local plumbing community.
