We are seeking a qualified, well-rounded teacher with strong and supportive leadership skills to provide a warm, nurturing, and fun learning experience in the classroom to help our program continue to grow. As the Lead Teacher for our 3 year old class, you will:
• Work with Head Teacher to further develop our program
• Plan, prepare and administer lessons and activities in accordance with curriculum objectives using developmentally appropriate practices and program philosophy
• Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of the children in our care
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for both students and staff
• Supervise assistants, aides and volunteers in the classroom
• Keep all appropriate records, including tracking and reporting progress of students
• Maintain daily open communication with parents
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $13.00 /hour
