We are raising funds for Montclair State’s Live Literature reading series! The series serves over 3000 students, and it is required that all First-Year Writing students in College Writing II attend a Live Lit. For many students, this is the first time they’ve attended a literary reading.

When booking artists and performers, we prioritize featuring people of color, LGBTQ+ folks, women and femmes, people with disabilities, and those from working class backgrounds. We want students to hear stories and see art that reflects their lives and experiences, as well as to engage with lives and stories that are markedly different from their own.

Funds raised will help us to host writing workshops for our students, pay writer honoraria, expand the program, and invite students to VIP receptions with featured artists and writers. Your support will also allow us to invite more filmmakers and multimedia artists.

Help Montclair State University raise $2,000 for the project: Live Literature. Your gift will make a difference!
