The Feliciano Center was created to enhance entrepreneurship education at Montclair State University by creating an environment where students unleash their talent for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial drive. This environment will provide students the opportunity to create and develop ideas that turn into real products or services, and ultimately pitch those products and services to successful entrepreneurs. Students will become entrepreneurs. Although situated in the university's Feliciano School of Business, the entrepreneurship experience will be available to every student on campus. One of the underlying tenets of the Center’s mission and vision is that every individual has the capacity to be creative and to innovate and solve problems. The Center offers a certificate and minor in entrepreneurship that is open to any student. Business students can pursue our concentration in entrepreneurship. Our curriculum is highly interactive, rigorous and experiential. The program exposes students to a process that strengthens their innovative and creative capacities and that enables them to apply these attributes to the enterprise creation protocol and toward the development of viable business models/solutions. Our courses guide students through real-life entrepreneurial experiences.
