The Educational Talent Search Program located on the campus of Alabama State University is a federally funded program designed to assist eligible individuals (ages 11 to 27) with enhancing their potentional for academic and personal growth. The program serves students in the Elmore, Lowndes and Montgomery tri-county area. The goal of the Educational Talent Search Program is to encourage youth from

disadvantaged backgrounds to complete high school and enroll into a post secondary educational institution of their choice.

From exploring Auburn University at Montgomery to putting our critical thinking and teamwork skills to the test at Escapology, today was all about learning beyond the classroom! 🎓🔐

Our students worked together through team-building and time management challenges while gaining a glimpse into college life and future opportunities. Experiences like these help build confidence, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills that will carry them far beyond middle school.

Today we celebrate a truly talented and kind-hearted senior! 🌟 Ni’Yunna Scott’s artistic creativity and musical passion have made a lasting impact on everyone around her. Whether expressing herself through art or music, she always bring positivity, dedication, and heart to everything she does. 🎨🎶

This fall, Ni’Yunna will continue her journey as a college freshman and proudly join the Jacksonville State University Marching band! We are so excited to see all the amazing things she will accomplish next.

Who is Eligible?
2026 Graduates from Montgomery County or Autauga County High Schools who have been admitted to ASU.
* Must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
