As we get closer to the reopening of McAlister Gymnasium, we want to thank and praise God for all He has done for us and brought us through. None of this would be possible without Him.

A couple of weeks ago, we held an open house in the gym where students and employees shared testimonies, prayed over the space, and wrote Scripture throughout the framing as our way of inviting God into this place and honoring Him in all that will take place in the gym when it reopens.

We’re so excited to have the gym finished, but ultimately, Jesus is the One who has led us to this moment. As hard as this season has been, it has made us stronger and more reliant on Him.

Welcome back, Discovery students! After spending the last couple weeks in the wilderness, you return with more than miles behind you — you return with stories, strength, friendships, and a deeper sense of what it means to be part of the Montreat community.

This year’s journey was especially meaningful as we celebrated Discovery 50, honoring five decades of this signature Montreat experience with alumni excursions, shared memories, and renewed gratitude for a program that continues to shape lives through challenge, camaraderie, and character.

We’re so proud of you, Cavaliers. Welcome home.
