TOP 10 FINISHERS! 🌽⚡️

Ashley Nelson ran 23:05 to place 8th in the women’s Maize race yesterday at Running of the Cows/Pre-Nationals. This was a season best and only 6 seconds away from her lifetime best from end-of-season last year! She was the top MIAC finisher in the race, and this was also a whole minute faster than the last time she ran this course freshman year 😤

Tyler Goss ran a smart tactical race, starting in 67th place at the 1k and steadily moving up to place 10th with a 26:21 in the men’s Maize race! He was the 4th MIAC finisher in the race, and this is the fastest he’s ever run at this point in the season. 📈

Race Day at Pre-Nats 🤠

Our men’s team placed 14th in The Running of the Cows Maize race!

Tyler Goss continues a strong senior season and placed 10th‼️with a 26:21.

Freshman Grant Nelson was our 2nd runner for the 3rd meet in a row!

Gavin Carl was our 3rd runner with his first sub-28 of his career!

Stetson Gisselbeck was our 4th to finish—he’s been in our top 4 every race this season.

Freshman Isaac Schleif had a breakout race to be our 5th runner, his first time scoring this season.

Owen Klisch ran a PR to be our 6th runner, his first time in our top 7!

Freshman Owen Anderson ran a PR to be our 7th runner, his first race in our top 7!

Running of the Cows!!! 🌽🤝🐮

Our women’s team placed 10th out of 32 teams in the Maize race today at Carleton’s Pre-National meet!

Ashley Nelson placed 8️⃣th!!! With her 2nd fastest time ever, a season best of 23:05. She was the top MIAC finisher in the Maize division.

Kelyn Henry-Perlich was 30th with a 23:29, over a minute faster than the last time she ran this course her freshman year!

Senior Londyn Ames was once again our 3rd runner—she was a minute and a half faster than the last time she ran this course her sophomore year! 📈

Lilly Dickinson was our 4th runner for the 3rd meet in a row!

Alayna Neu continues her sophomore season breakout as our 5th runner.

Senior Amelia Rowley was our 6th runner for the 3rd meet in a row, another strong run side by side with Alayna.

Sophomore Emery Holland broke into our top 7 for the first time in her career!!

Off and running 😤 first 8k ✔️

Toni St. Pierre Recap:
🌽Tyler Goss placed 5th with a 26:05, his 2nd fastest 8k ever and only 9s away from his PR in the first one of the season.
🌽Grant Nelson was our 2nd runner in his first 8k ever! He ran 26:57 to place 22nd.
🌽Stetson Gisselbeck broke 28 for the first time to be our 3rd scorer.
🌽Henry Lockwood was our 4th scorer in 28:17 in his first 8k ever!
🌽Gavin Carl was our final scorer in 28:26.
🌽Weston Mahar was our 6th and Calvin Johnson ran a huge 29s lifetime best to be our 7th runner.
