Students in HSAD 218 & 417 classes visited Family HealthCare's Downtown Fargo clinic to learn about healthcare leadership, community health, and serving underserved populations. Thank you to MSUM MHA alumnus Jonathan Heiberg for coordinating this valuable experience and helping students connect classroom learning with real-world healthcare leadership.

A big thank you to Essentia Health for hosting our students on September 28 for an incredible experiential learning opportunity! Students toured inpatient units, the ICU, hyperbaric clinic, and Emergency Department, then participated in engaging discussions with healthcare professionals.
Special thanks to Claire Holland, General Surgery Operations Manager, for helping coordinate this valuable experience. We are grateful for Essentia Health's partnership and look forward to continuing these hands-on learning opportunities.

Last week four SNHL nursing faculty members attended the National League for Nursing Education Summit in Washington DC. While there, they learned about upcoming changes to NLN CNEA accreditation standards. Once implemented, these changes will continue to demonstrate MSUM’s commitment to continuous programmatic improvements for all nursing programs.

This past Friday, the School of Nursing & Healthcare Leadership hosted the Nursing Awards Celebration to honor the dedication and heart of our nurses. It was an inspiring day recognizing the hard work of students, faculty, and alumni.
