Good news! MVC is set to receive approximately $25.4 million in state funding for a new Biological and Physical Sciences STEM facility. 🔬 The project will expand instructional space for science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs, giving students more opportunities to learn in state-of-the-art spaces as our STEM offerings continue to grow.

The state funding frees up Measure CC funds originally planned for the STEM project to support other campus priorities. Here's to a growing campus!

MVC's Farmer's Market is back for fall! 🌽 Join us Tuesday, September 1 from 10 am - 2 pm in Coudures Plaza for fresh, affordable produce and local goods. We're open to the public and parking is free for the duration!

The first 120 MVC students to register in PantrySoft through MyPortal will receive $15 in Monty Money for use at agricultural vendors. Pick up your Monty Money at the student check-in table between market opening and 1 pm. Be sure to register again before each Farmer's Market.

Riverside County's Homelessness Oversight Board visited MVC to learn more about our Lion's Path Housing Program and the support it provides to students experiencing housing insecurity. 🏠🦁

Board members toured the Basic Needs & Wellness Center, Monty's Market and two apartment communities where Lion's Path students live. The visit highlighted how MVC is combining stable housing with case management and basic needs support to help students stay enrolled and reach their goals.
