Who's ready for a RECRUITMENT ROAD TRIP?!

We’re kicking off our new fall recruitment campaign! Every Sunday night, we’ll share a sneak peek at where our recruiter, Haley, is headed next as we hit the road to meet future student pharmacists. 💊

This week, we’re headed to Wood County to visit Parkersburg South High School 💎, home of the Patriots, and Parkersburg High School, home of the Big Reds! 🏈

Next week, Dr. Barrickman is coming along for the ride! We’ll be at WVWC 🐅connecting with students from Barbour, Lewis, Randolph, Tucker, and Upshur counties. Then, we’re off to Glenville State 💙to meet students from Braxton, Calhoun, Gilmer, and Roane counties!

Attention Student Pharmacists (and Pre-Pharmacy students in the DAP and Healthcare Pathway!)

Mark your calendars for September 14-18 for our Professional Development Week, hosted by the Office of Admissions & Student Affairs, and IPhO!
This week will be full of opportunities to connect, learn, and network within the world of pharmacy.

Lunch will be provided during each of the daytime sessions...so come hungry! Be sure to fill out the RSVP form in SOLE by this FRIDAY, AUGUST 21. Additionally, if you are interested in participating in the mock interview session on Tuesday evening (9/15), you must reserve your spot (this form is also located in SOLE).

Keep in mind that there will be daytime and evening events. PharmD students who attend four (4) lunchtime presentations will receive a Professional Development Certificate!

Congratulations to our Beta Eta Chapter of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity! Members earned several awards at this year’s Grand Council Convention in Dallas, Texas. One of the awards was the Top Performing Chapter Pinnacle Award, placing it among the nation’s eight highest-performing collegiate chapters. It’s been a busy week for the Class of 2030! They learned what to expect when classes begin next week, asked current students questions, met some of their professors, participated in icebreakers and team-building activities, visited the STEPS Center for CPR training and much more. Tomorrow, they will receive their White Coats during a special ceremony. Congratulations, Class of 2030 and welcome home.
