We excited to share that members of the WVU advanced steel band have been invited to perform with the Philadelphia Pan Stars in this years New York Panorama!

We can’t wait to have some WVU representation at such a massive event! Stay tuned for some more information as we get closer to the big show!

We have so many opportunities to participate in the world music scene at WVU! From registered ensembles, to chamber groups, to gig bands, there’s never a shortage of opportunities!

Just because Percussion Camp is over, doesn’t mean we can’t keep posting about it! The students participating in the steel band were great! For many of them, this was their first time playing a steel drum! We had so much fun this week!

We had a great week working with the WVU Percussion Academy!! We’re sad for camp to end but maybe the real memories were the drums we hit along the way 💙💛
