A star on the field and in the classroom. 🌟⚽️

The West Virginia Business Hall of Fame was created 25 years ago to recognize and celebrate the achievements of leaders dedicated to promoting the growth and prosperity of West Virginia and its business community. πŸ‘

As we approach this 25th year, we're thrilled to induct three more trailblazers into the Hall of Fame:

Carter W. Strauss-- Former President, Strauss Industries Inc
Verna LeMasters Gibson-- Former Director, Chicos FAS
Ike Morris-- President, Waco Oil & Gas

Join us in honoring these leaders at the Hall of Fame ceremony on September 1, 2026, at The Greenbrier.

Exposure ➑️ Experience

At the Chambers College, exposure and experience are our top priority. By putting our students in front of all fields and areas, we offer them an opportunity to find their passion and run with it.

Dean Josh Hall made an appearance on Going Big with Kevin Gentry to share how he believes our College is shaping the next generation of business leaders. πŸ‘

You never know what you'll see in the halls of WVU Law.

Earlier this year, we ran into WVU Chambers College professor Jamie Field while he was being sworn in as a U.S. citizen in the Lugar Courtroom. The person swearing him in? Our very own Judge Thomas Kleeh, district judge for the northern district of West Virginia and WVU Law adjunct faculty member.

Congratulations, Jamie! We're happy to play a small role in this amazing step in your life.

Last month, a group of Business Mountaineers, along with students from the University of Nebraska, embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Kenya! πŸ‡°πŸ‡ͺ

During their two-week trip, students had the opportunity to take language classes, visit coffee and tea farms to learn about the industry, explore the University of Nairobi, and even see giraffes, elephants, lions, zebras, and more on safaris. πŸ˜πŸ¦“πŸ¦

We can’t wait to see where else this summer will take our Business Mountaineers! 🌟
