Air sickness and free falling in a plane may not sound like fun to the typical person, but West Virginia University engineering students aren’t typical.

The Final Report and Team Video have been submitted finishing all the requirements for WVUMRT12. It's been a great year and an experience that none of us we'll ever forget, and we thank you for sharing it with us.

Oh and don't forget... Letters of Intent for this year's applicants are due next week.

Big thanks to Steve Kosko for putting together this flight week video of WVU MRT 12.

WVU MRT 12 has only 1 week left of its NASARGEFP experience and potential WVU MRT 13 is hard at work selecting a new research project. The reins had to be passed at some point.

So the flight week starts tomorrow right???

07/21/2013

Well the Reduced Gravity office was able to extend the "flight week" an extra day allowing all the remaining flyers to get their chance in microgravity. Big thank you to them for all of their hard work to get everyone a chance at this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

All and all the week was a completely unforgettable experience, and hopefully next year's team will be able to call themselves WVUMRT13.

The second flight for the university flyers has been scrubbed with what looks like an engine issue

First group has survived the zero G flight

Conflicting airspace means that the student's flights have been pushed back once more. Hopes are for two flights tomorrow, but more than likely there's going to be a Saturday flight. This is going to happen people don't you worry!
