WVU - Industrial Assessment Center(IAC and MARICE), funded by DOE Manufacturing & Energy Supply Chains Office (MESC) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), recently conducted an ITAC assessment at DALB Inc, Kearneysville, WV, on 09/20/2024. DALB Inc is an industry leader in providing the services related to printing, thermoforming, and fabrication. Our team, led by Dr. Bhaskaran Gopalakrishnan and IAC students Nishan Adhikari, E.I.T. , Rupesh Dahal, E.I.T. and Abdullah Alfadhli, had the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders and contribute to optimizing the energy efficiency and sustainability of their operations.

Our students Roseline Mostafa, Bibek Prajapati, Nishan Adhikari, and Rupesh Dahal had the incredible opportunity to attend the Lead Students Meeting and the AEE World Conference 2024 in Nashville, TN. They gained valuable insights through keynote sessions, panel discussions, and the technology expo, exploring advancements in energy sectors.
This experience not only enhances their professional development but also brings fresh ideas back to the WVU - Industrial Assessment Center, pushing the boundaries of innovation. We are excited to see how this experience enhances their contributions to both the IAC and the broader energy sector!

The WVU - Industrial Assessment Center team recently conducted a MARICE assessment at InMotion US, located in Blacksburg, VA, on August 20-21, 2024. InMotion manufactures electric motors for automotive purposes.

The assessment was led by Dr. Bhaskaran Gopalakrishnan Director WVU - Industrial Assessment Center along with students Nishan Adhikari and Sidhartha Sunkasari.

Silgan Containers, one of the largest and leading suppliers of containers and closures for food packaging, opened its doors for this assessment. Our team, led by Dr. Bhaskaran Gopalakrishnan and IAC students Roseline Mostafa, Bibek Prajapati and Rupesh Dahal , had the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders and contribute to optimizing the energy efficiency and sustainability of their operations.

We're thrilled to highlight the achievements of Dr. Amol Mate, PhD, an alumnus of the IAC/IOF program, who recently met with Dr. Bhaskaran Gopalakrishnan. Dr. Mate is currently serving as the Senior VP for Business Development at Altizon Inc., making significant strides in the tech industry.

Dr. Mate's research as a graduate student has garnered considerable attention, with 15 citations, showcasing the impact of his work.

The WVU - Industrial Assessment Center team recently conducted a MARICE assessment at a chemical company specializing in polymers and LED phosphors in Cleveland, Ohio. This insightful experience, held on 07/17/2024, allowed us to delve into cutting-edge manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainability improvements.

The assessment was led by Dr. Bhaskaran Gopalakrishnan Director WVU-Industrial Assessment Center along students Roseline Mostafa, Nishan Adhikari, Addison Hockins.

It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect and discuss the innovative work Pradyumna is doing at Veregy. It's always inspiring to see our alumni making a significant impact in the industry.

The WVU - Industrial Assessment Center conducted an IAC assessment for Leveltek on 07/01/2024. Leveltek is a metal processing company that offers stretch leveling and toll processing for different type of metals. The plant is located in Benwood, WV.

The assessment was led by Dr. Hailin Li, Assistant Director WVU-Industrial Assessment Center along with Jamie Cope, Manager, Business Development - Department of WVU Industrial Extension and students Nishan Adhikari, John Recktenwald, Sidhartha S, and Bibek Prajapati.

The WVU - Industrial Assessment Center conducted an IAC assessment for Dyna-mix on 06/25/2024. Dyna-Mix is a custom rubber compounding company that has been in business since 1986. The plant is located in Grafton, WV.
