“Sewing Isn’t Scary: Summer Youth Bootcamps
Registration for a bootcamp is now OPEN!

Spend a week learning to sew in our makers space. From 10am-3pm students will work to understand the basics of sewing on industrial sewing machines, learn to read patterns, and make 3+ projects (bags, clothing, quilt squares, pillowcases, keychain).”

Camp Sessions:
June 15-19
June 22-25
June 29-July 2
July 13-17
July 20-24
July 27-31
August 3-7

Cost & Registration:
$200 per week - includes all project materials, instruction, and a daily snack.
Payment is due in-person on the first day of camp

Funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, this initiative offers free planning, assessment, and training services to small and mid-sized cultural heritage organizations nationwide. Participants will work directly with CCAHA staff to shape a customized collections care project aligned with their priorities, from emergency preparedness to digital collections and storage planning.
