The film highlights the growing movement connecting farms, fiber, manufacturing, and design across New York State, and the people working to build a more connected future for fashion and textiles. Through our work on the ground and as a consortium member, we are proud to be a part of bringing this vision to life.

Friends. Please consider donating to support my colleague Elisa Livengood and I in our effort to establish a food forest on the SUNY Morrisville campus.

A food forest is a self sustaining ecosystem with multiple plant layers. From root crops, ground cover and herbaceous pants to small shrubs, vines understory and canopy trees, all pants either provide food or support the ecosystem through services such as attracting pollinators. This 1-acre space will serve as living laboratory for students as well as provide fresh produce to our campus and surrounding community.
