Alumni Spotlight: Roodgine D. Bray

We are proud to spotlight Roodgine D. Bray, a Clayton State University alumna, accomplished attorney, and dedicated community leader.

Attorney Bray is a Litigation Partner at Davis Bozeman Law Firm, PC, where she leads the firm’s Litigation Team. A native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Clayton State University before earning her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Her commitment to leadership and service began right here at Clayton State, where she served as President of the Student Government Association and President of the Tau Epsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Throughout her career, Attorney Bray has remained a passionate advocate for civil rights, justice, and community empowerment. She has served in numerous leadership roles, including as the 44th President of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys in 2025, and is a co-founder of the Haitian American Lawyers Association of Georgia.

She has also been recognized by the National Black Lawyers Association as a Top 40 Under 40 Attorney in 2018, 2024, and 2026.

Today, Attorney Bray continues to give back to her alma mater as a member of the Clayton State University Alumni Board while remaining actively involved in her profession, church, family, and community.

We are proud to celebrate Attorney Roodgine D. Bray and the incredible impact she continues to make beyond the Lake!

As we come together to celebrate Alumni Weekend, we’re also coming together to support our Laker community!

We’re asking alumni to bring canned goods and essential necessities to donate during Alumni Weekend, September 10–12. Every donation—big or small—can make a difference for members of our campus community.

🎒 Suggested donations include:
• Canned and nonperishable food
• Toiletries & personal care items
• Hygiene products
• Household necessities

💙 Come reconnect, celebrate, and give back to the Laker community that brought us together!

This month, we’re proud to spotlight Sekou, whose journey from Clayton State University to Atlanta United FC showcases the power of combining strategy, creativity, and passion.

As a Creative Strategist and Sports Marketer, Sekou develops integrated marketing campaigns, brand partnerships, retail launches, and fan experiences that connect supporters with one of Major League Soccer’s premier clubs. He credits his time at Clayton State with providing the strong foundation in business strategy, consumer behavior, and marketing that continues to guide his career.

We’re proud to celebrate Sekou’s accomplishments and the impact he’s making in the world of sports marketing.
