As we begin a new semester, we're happy to welcome Dr. Connor Wright to the chemistry & physics department. Dr. Wright earned his PhD from Univ. of Wisconsin- Madison in physical chemistry. He'll be teaching CHEM 1151, CHEM 1212, CHEM 1212L and CHEM 1211L this semester.

As we wrap up the summer and gear up for classes to start on Monday, we've been highlighting some activities of our majors this summer. We already shared what Kelise and Khoa were up to. We also had Tram Nguyen at Harvard Medical School completing a summer REU working on a bioinformatics project. We are so proud of our chemistry students and look forward to seeing you all next week!

Congratulations to our Spring 2022 graduates: Afzal, Arya, Anthony, and Rohan. During the "glassware breaking ceremony" our graduates could finally get permission to break a few beakers and let off a little steam. Congrats to Afzal who was one of the student commencement speakers.
