This coming academic year, we would like to introduce the MILL Fellowship, an opportunity for a student to work directly with MILL staff on projects that advance the space’s technology and services. The Fellow will take on meaningful development work—enhancing tools, creating new resources, and leading workshops that broaden student participation and skill‑building.

Your support will help establish this fellowship and ensure the MILL continues to be a place where students explore, innovate, and create!

It's Vandal Giving Day!
This year, the Library is investing in the Making, Innovating, and Learning Laboratory — the MILL. Located on the first floor of the Library and open to everyone on campus, the MILL is where students turn concepts into reality. With 3D printers, a laser cutter and engraver, and a full calendar of hands-on workshops, the MILL gives Vandals access to state-of-the-art technology that most would never encounter on their own — tools that spark curiosity, build technical confidence, and prepare students for careers that demand creative problem-solving. From engineering prototypes to art installations, from class projects to personal passion builds, the MILL bridges disciplines and breaks down barriers between thinking and making. It is one of the most inclusive, energizing spaces on campus — and demand continues to grow.
Your donation will help us maintain and expand the equipment, materials, and staffing that keep the MILL running and accessible to every student who walks through the door. It will fund new technology, replace consumable supplies, create student fellowships, and support the workshops and one-on-one guidance that turn first-time makers into confident creators.
Your gift during Vandal Giving Day will help us unlock matching gifts provided by the Library Advisory Board and others. These much-needed funds enable us to sustain and grow a space that is central to the hands-on, innovative education our students deserve.
Your financial support allows us to equip the next generation of Vandal thinkers, makers, and innovators. When you invest in the MILL, you invest in the kind of learning that stays with students long after they leave Moscow. Thank you — and Go Vandals!
