Want to build your outdoor first-aid skills? Join Outdoor Program for a hands-on clinic where you’ll learn how to build a splint on an arm and get a closer look at the Wilderness First Responder course offered in January.

This free clinic is open to anyone interested in learning more about first aid in the outdoors. Join us on Oct. 15 from 5–7 p.m. in the SRC Classroom.

Parents and guardians with children interested in rock climbing are invited to attend a Palouse Youth Climbing Team interest meeting 4-5 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 6, in the SRC classroom. Open to youth ages 11-17, the team provides a positive, goal-oriented environment that supports both individual growth and team development. Join Outdoor Program for a backpacking trip to Stanley Hot Springs October 10–11. The trip is open to everyone and costs $65 for U of I students and $85 for all others, with transportation and group equipment included.
