There are so many incredible students at UMO and we are excited to celebrate ALL of those that are graduating! 🎓

We wanted to give one more 📣shout out📣 to the soon-to-be alumni that have helped us in the Admissions Office during their time here, pictured and not!

Whether they were leading campus tours, sharing their experiences on student panels, helping at special events, writing note cards, answering the phone or making phone calls, or simply being a welcoming face for future students and families, each of them have made a difference to our Admissions Team. Thank you for everything you each gave to helping future Trojans find their place here.

We get to celebrate all of our graduates tomorrow but we wanted to give a special shout out to Sarah Holloman! 💚

Three years ago, Sarah joined our Admissions Office as a student worker. Her first job at UMO was working outside, but she realized she wanted to give office life a try. And we are so glad she did!

Behind the scenes, she’s been helping everything run smoothly while keeping us entertained. Between making files, sending out mail, solving random mysteries with her expert Google skills, keeping us informed on current events, walking families to where they needed to go, running items between offices, and always stepping up to do whatever’s needed.. she did it all! She tells it like it is, keeps us laughing, and can switch instantly into her A+ customer service voice on the phone. ☎️✨

It’s been so rewarding to watch her grow over the last three years, both personally and professionally. We’re incredibly proud of all she’s accomplished and excited to see where her next chapter takes her. 🎓

The House of Raeford Farms School of Agriculture and Biological Sciences would like to invite you to a workshop titled, "What Does it Take to Get in to Medical School?"

This free workshop is designed for current high school students and their parents, teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors. The workshop focuses on prerequisites, program requirements, medical school options, internships, success stories, recommended transfer courses, medical school financing, and a solid plan B. Any teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors can receive professional development credit for attending.

The workshop is on Wednesday, May 20, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM EDT. You can sign up directly in the Facebook comments.
