Dr. Steven Echols, BPCU President, has recently coauthored a book entitled Transforming Churches in Pastoral Transition. Churches often approach the interim time between pastors with an expectation that the church will regress. Echols and his coauthor, Reggie Ogea, wrote this book to help churches view the time between pastors as an opportunity to move the congregation forward. Johnathan joins us from Brewton-Parker Christian University, where he is a sophomore pursuing his education and preparing for what God has next.

When asked what he's most looking forward to during his internship, Johnathan shared that he hopes to grow in communicating effectively with his team and team leaders while discovering all that God has in store for this season.

We're excited to have Johnathan on board and can't wait to see how the Lord works through him this summer. Join us in welcoming him to the team!
