Tomorrow, January 17th in L-204 from 9-11am we will have representatives from Futures NW here to help you fill out the new 24-25 FAFSA. Please remember this is a different version than what you have filled out in the past. Please bring your computers if possible, and last years tax info (or parents SSN's) and lets get your FAFSA completed and turned in! Delicious donuts from Darren's Donuts will be provided by TRIO Staff.

Happy week before finals! We hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break and are doing well going into the last stretch of the Fall Quarter. Things happening this week:

Wednesday, November 29th Banking Basics with WECU from 9:30-11:30 am in L-204. A wonderful financial workshop that provides you with the essentials on all things banking and keeping your finances in order while in college. Professionals from Whatcom Educational Credit Union (WECU) will lead us in a workshop. Bagels and cream cheese will be provided.

Thursday, November 30th from 2-3:00pm is Caffeination Hour! Come join us for some tea or other forms of caffeine in L-204. This is a great time to take a study break and connect with other students to relieve stress. We'd love to see you!

Are you interested in transferring to Western Washington University? Come out on Thursday, November 16th for a Transfer Workshop for Western Washington University starting at 1 pm in Lewis 204. Jeanne Gaffney, WWU Associate Director of Admissions will talk about transferring to WWU and will be available to meet individually with students after her presentation from 2-4.

Do you find that Math and Tests cause you anxiety? Do you struggle to overcome your nerves? Then this is the workshop for you! On Tuesday, October 31st join Math Faculty Chuck Stevens and TRIO Counselor Beth McGuire from 10 am until 11:20 am in L-311. You'll learn how to overcome those nerves with practical skills and think more positively about tests. Snacks will be provided!
