We have received a giant map of Indiana, which measures 10' x 16' and comes with an educational kit for teachers and K-12 students. The map is available at the GIS Research and Map Collection at Bracken Library (BL224). This is an invitation for everybody, especially Social Studies students and teachers. In the Spotlight on Alumni Series, we aim to share some professional achievements held by our graduates.

Here, we have Tyler Ryan, a proud 2020 graduate in Meteorology. He started out in the TV industry in Youngstown, Ohio at WFMJ. In 2022, he moved to the Quad Cities as a weekend meteorologist at WHBF/KLJB. After a short time there, Tyler was able to move home and work in Indianapolis at Fox59 and CBS4.

He left Broadcast Meteorology in 2026 to pursue his dream of working for the National Weather Service. Tyler currently works for the Weather Forecast Office in Des Moines, Iowa.
