Camp Achieve went Jurassic this summer!

With dinosaur-themed activities, swimming, archery, art, field trips and even a foam party, Camp Achieve 2026 was packed with adventure.

But beneath all the fun, 34 autistic campers were building skills, confidence and friendships in a supportive community designed to help them thrive.

Camp Achieve officially came to a close last week, and while we're already missing our campers, we're excited to begin sharing some of our favorite memories.

Today's album offers a glimpse into just one day at camp, capturing a few of the learning, laughter, friendships, and special moments that made this summer so meaningful. We have many more photos to share in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Camp Achieve 2026 staff training has officially begun! 🎉 Before campers arrive on June 8th, our staff complete more than two weeks of highly specialized training focused on supporting our campers with autism through engaging instruction, communication supports, behavior strategies, and relationship building.

As you can see, we take our themes very seriously around here! 🦖 From costumes and camp songs to team bonding and lots of laughter, our staff are already working hard to create the fun, energetic community that makes Camp Achieve so special each summer. We are counting down the days until we welcome our campers for another Jurassic-sized summer adventure! 🦕

Due to some misunderstandings and technical issues with the application process, we are re-opening camper applications at the link below and extending the deadline for Camp Achieve 2026 applications until Wednesday, April 15th at 11:59PM.

If you have not yet completed your child’s CampDoc profile, please take this time to ensure all required components are submitted. As a reminder, the application is a two-step process: 1) Register for an account, 2) Log in and complete your child's health profile.

If you are experiencing difficulty uploading your child’s proof of diagnosis or IEP due to file size limitations, you may email those documents directly to Lindsey Ogle at [email protected].

Please note that only fully completed applications will be considered for admission. Thank you for your patience and continued interest in Camp Achieve! We plan to notify families of acceptance by May 1.

Camper Applications are due today! If you have applied, please double check that you have completed the entire application! If CampDoc is saying your application is not 100% complete, then please do so by tonight.

There have been issues with documents exceeding file size limits. If your child's IEP or diagnostic paperwork is too large of a file, you can email it to [email protected].

For the first time ever, Camp Achieve is participating in One Ball State Day! ❤️🖤

So, what is One Ball State Day? It’s Ball State’s annual 24-hour celebration of everything Ball State—bringing together alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends to support the programs and experiences that matter most. On April 1, the entire community comes together to make an impact, with every gift helping create opportunities and change lives.

We’re kicking things off by introducing someone who helps tell the Camp Achieve story so powerfully—Jess Paul, our Director of Communications! Hear directly from Jess about why she loves Camp Achieve and the impact it has on our campers, staff, and families.

If you tried to apply before or are still thinking about it, we’d love for you to apply now. There’s still time—applications are open through April 8.
