We’re proud to celebrate MTSU Vocal Performance students Warren Quandt, Caitlin Clements, and Jordan Mathis, who performed as members of the chorus in Nashville Opera’s recent production of Puccini’s Tosca!

Experiences like these give our students the opportunity to take their training beyond the classroom and rehearsal hall, working alongside professional artists and gaining valuable experience on the operatic stage.

Congratulations to Warren, Caitlin, and Jordan on representing the MTSU School of Music so well!

The Nashville Opera opens its season this week with Puccini’s Tosca, and we’re proud to see several MTSU School of Music faculty members performing in the orchestra pit!

MTSU faculty performing with the Nashville Opera Orchestra include:
🎶 Todd Waldecker, Principal Clarinet
🎶 Keith Sorrels, Oboe and English Horn
🎶 Deanna Hahn, Principal Flute
🎶 David Loucky, Principal Trombone and Bass Trombone

We’re proud of the many ways our faculty remain active professional musicians, bringing their experiences from the stage and orchestra pit directly into their teaching at MTSU. Congratulations to our faculty colleagues and everyone involved in this week’s production of Tosca!

Join us for our first student production of the year, DANCE NATION, directed by MJ Learned!

"Somewhere in America, an army of pre-teen competitive dancers plots to take over the world. And if their new routine is good enough, they’ll claw their way to the top at Nationals in Tampa Bay. A play about ambition, growing up, and how to find our souls in the heat of it all." - Concord Theatricals
