Children's book "Farm Adventures with Willie B." written and illustrated by two Murray State alums and a professor was honored as the official agricultural book of Kentucky’s 22nd Agricultural Education Week and has been distributed in over 700 elementary schools across the state.

Youth Ag Day 2026. In the annual event coordinated by the Calloway County Conservation District, lots of local elementary school students learned about many aspects of agriculture. Stanley and our electrical safety display was used by several of our Hutson College of Agriculture students yesterday and today to teach and promote being safe around electricity (including the bunny hop to get away from down power lines).

Official release date September 21!

All in for Ag Education Week is coming September 21–25! More than 700 schools across Kentucky will receive a new book starring our four-legged friend Willie B. and packed with lessons about ag and farm safety.
