Finance professor, Dr. Leiza Nochebuena-Evans, was chosen to participate in the Faculty Symposium for the inauguration festivities in honor of Dr. Ron K. Patterson. She was one of only seven faculty chosen to participate. She led session titled: “Peer-to-Peer Lending: A friend or foe to the payday lending-crime relationship?”

Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society had their annual induction ceremony yesterday evening and we are very proud of these students for this high honor.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Only 5% of business schools have achieved this international status, and Murray State Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business has maintained this since 1976.

Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.
Membership in BGS is by invitation only and a high honor. At Murray State, we invite based on GPA, the top 10% of undergraduate students and top 20% of graduate students.
