A cool breakdown of one of Buakaw's recent finishing combos. If you just watched this fight without knowing much about the technical side of Muay Thai you might not catch what's happening. -CF

Here's a masterful breakdown demonstrating how Buakaw uses various hand-trap techniques to lure in his opponent and to finish him.

This guy has gotta be joking. CF.

All I can say is: "wow, what a bunch of bu****it". K-1 should have been left to rot when it went bankrupt. This fight was quite uneventful, but it was not a draw. There was a clear winner, and it was Buakaw. Many are saying the match was fixed and it sadly seems plausible. Buakaw and Kehl are, personally my two favorite fighters at the moment, one being a legend and the other an up in comer, but Buakaw won 2/3 rounds and is just the better fighter. Oddly, he even left the ring before the decision was even announced, seemingly already knowing his fate. Buakaw could have easily won in a 4th round, but it looks more like he was making a statement. Leaving the event in disgust and gifting the belt to Kehl. K-1 is a shadow of it's former self with the K-1 max TOURNAMENTs of the past: a grueling weekend of fights to prove the best kickboxer in the world. K-1 MAX 2014 took over a year to complete and, save for Kehl and Buakaw, the quality of fighters was pathetic. It's nothing compared to the years of competition between Kraus, Zambidis, Petrosyan, Souwer, Masato, and of course Buakaw. -Trevor
