The Murray State University Alumni Association welcomed a very special guest today — Donna Herndon ('64). 💙💛

Many Racer alumni know Donna from her years of service as director of alumni affairs and the numerous causes she has dedicated her support to, she has built lasting relationships among generations of Murray State alumni and friends.

During her visit, Donna shared memories from her time with the Alumni Association, reflected on the organization's history and discussed the recognition and honors she is preparing to receive.

Murray State alumna Dr. Jessica Pryor (’20) is helping shape the future of education through innovation and technology. 💙💛

Pryor, assistant professor of early childhood and elementary education, recently redesigned EDU 626, an asynchronous educational technology course offered through the Instructional Technology Endorsement program.

To create a more engaging and human-centered online learning experience, she collaborated with Casey Stubblefield ('22), a recent Murray State computer science graduate and current MBA student. Together, they enhanced course navigation, storytelling elements and visual design to better support student learning.

Racer alumni continue finding new ways to use technology, creativity and collaboration to improve educational experiences for future generations of students.

Murray State alum Brian Lile ('00) ('07) ('12) has been named superintendent of Muhlenberg County Schools, effective July 1, 2026. 📚

A Muhlenberg County native and graduate of Muhlenberg South High School, Lile began his career as a math and algebra teacher at Muhlenberg South Middle School.

He has since served in multiple leadership roles within the district, including assistant principal and principal of Muhlenberg South Middle School, instructional supervisor and human resources director.

Congratulations, Brian! His career reflects the impact Murray State alumni continue to make in education and their communities.
